Jonathan Hinkle, PE

Mr. Hinkle started LDSI’s Kinston, NC office and water resource engineering group. He has extensive experience managing ecological restoration and stormwater projects from concept development and funding appropriation to construction support and project closeout. Jonathan has worked within the private and public sectors and brings experience in all phases of project development from these sectors. His understanding of both sides of the table (consultant and government representative) makes him a key asset on projects with his knowledge of budgets, constraints, programmatic requirements, design, and regulation. He is passionate about working with clients and our staff to develop innovative engineering solutions to our water resource issues. He is active on several water quality committees and task forces at local and state levels. He was challenged at a young age by his paternal grandfather to make a difference in this world by solving water issues and he strives every day to honor that challenge.
